My last post was about how I would be starting to post regularly again and then I managed to get sick, more sick than I have ever been and had to be referred for tests and investigations but at the end of the day the sickness resolved itself and I just have to monitor my diet/intake to see if there are any triggers! So far nothing in over a month so that's great!
I'm writing this post from my new apartment in South Korea during my second week of quarantine! Lots of exclamation marks but a lot has happened since I last posted...
During my quarantine I've been able to adjust my sleeping schedule so now I'm not exhausted all the time from jet lag and falling asleep during the afternoon, I'm now back to sleeping normal hours but still haven't adjusted to being in a completely different time zone to my family and friends yet. I wake up just as they're going to sleep and they finish work as I'm heading to bed. I've also been able to spend time on Korean language lessons, something I feel like restarting completely because after being allowed outside in Korea for all of 2 hours in the last fortnight I have a long way to go!
Since the restrictions in Greater Seoul are still encouraging people to be inside as much as possible and maintain social distancing, I'm hoping that I'll be able to get some reading done too and have reviews to post on here. I've actually written and scheduled some reviews of books that I read this year so far as well as kdrama wrap ups and even some blog tags/memes to get back into the swing of things.
I'll be writing about my life as well as a sort of journal for me to look back on once my time in Korea is over (though who knows when that will be as I'm currently contracted for 1 year) but mainly still bookish things because...that's who I am and we're not allowed out much yet...but click follow if that's something that you'd be into!!
