68th book of 2021
Third book in the Ghosted in L.A. series
Reading period: Aug 16th 2021
Summary
CRAZY, SUPERNATURAL, LOVE.
Daphne Walters' life is complicated enough, living at Rycroft Manor with her ghostly friends and trying to figure out why everyone in LA is always 30 minutes late for everything important.
So it's TOTALLY the perfect time for Daphne to lose one of her friends, for the mystery of the ghost behind the basement door to be revealed and for Daphne to decide her entire future, RIGHT?
And did we forget to mention that Daphne's former roommate Michelle just unveiled a scheme to exorcise the friendly ghosts from Rycroft? Yeah, there's that too.

Review
This last book was intense as you have a lot of events, too little page amount and a quick pace.
I'm still not a big fan of Zola, but I slowly start to be used to her. Also, we continue to have the past of the ghosts and the manor. The beginning surprised me as we discover a secondary character's past from the first comic, but we don't know anything about her.
The ending isn't as precise as I would like after the mystery is unravelled. This resolution is logical and, at the same time, surprising as you don't have a lot of clues throughout the series. However, you feel that it's not finished and that the ending is open to your imagination.
It wasn't enough for me, and I would have liked to have more pages and maybe make it a little slower.
Liz.
