It's time to go back and look at five of the games I reviewed three years ago and add them to The List. Here you can visit the original reviews, find out if I've kept or culled them, and what I think of the games in 2021.

The games we'll be looking at today: Concept, Schotten Totten, Santorini, Mad Love, Crosstalk.

Concept

Original Review

Concept is a tough game to talk about only because there's not a lot to talk about. There's pictures on a board, you create concepts using cubes on this board. Then people try and guess.

It's a great idea, but it feels sterile.

In my plays, no one ever went the distance to create concepts or string them together. Instead it became charades with a board, which isn't nearly enough to excite me or hold my attention. It belongs alongside my least favourite game Vampires vs Unicorns where if board games were sandwiches then these two would be two slices of bread.

No filling.
