Fall is SO CLOSE! Who else is ready?! --Now only if the temperatures would drop 20 degrees or more. Wishful thinking. My September reading list is so unrealistic this month, but we gotta live life on the edge a bit. I have finished reading The Unfinished Tales for Tolkien Tuesday and have been prepping my finals posts for that, but now I am diving into The Children of Hurin! I can't wait to share my thoughts with you! Now for all my other reads:
I have quite a few NetGalley Reads this month:
~ The Last House on Needless Street by Catriona Ward which releases September 28th
~ Horseman by Christina Henry which also releases September 28th, I have read quite a few of her books and they are perfect for getting into the Halloween mood!
~ The Rage of Innocence by Kristin Henning releases on September 28th
~Hyde by Craig Russell which...you guessed it, releases September 28th
Some of my Bookclubs haven't decided on the September book yet but the Bookstorians have chosen Little by Edward Carey which is actually about Madam Tussaud and I can't wait to dive in!
Now for my TBR (not including Audiobooks~ I am still having issues with Libby and not being able to access some of my library cards on file) I plan to complete as much of my Summer Reading List as possible! It has been such a wonderful summer for books!
~The Inner Life of Animals by Peter Wohlleben
~The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin
~Animal Liberation by Peter Singer
~Dominion by Matthew Scully
~In The Shadow of Man by Jane Goodall
~Slaughterhouse by Gail A. Eisnitz
This does not include books from my Fall TBR as I am still working on what to read. I have been having Karin Slaughter withdrawals so I may just binge her Grant County series at some point!
So tell me, what are you reading this month?
