I was browsing Instagram the other day and saw that one of the accounts I follow posted a video doing this tag. It looked fun and interesting, so I decided to do it myself. The name says it all and the original creator of the tag is the YouTube channel Book Buds

Without further ado, let's get into the tag and my answers.

1. What is something that you own way too many of, other than books?

I own a lot of candles. Some of them are book themed, but I have a lot of candles, which is especially strange because I don't really burn candles all that often.

2. What is something that you do for fun that's not reading a book?

I took up knitting when COVID first started and I've been having fun doing that. I also enjoy doing some creative writing.

3. What is something special or important on your nightstand, that's not a book?

Well, my glasses are kind of important, but I doubt that's the kind of answer this question is for. Something else that's special is my stuffed Godzilla plushie, because I just love it.

4. What's something that you buy at a bookstore other than books?

Bookmarks and other bookish merch, mostly. But I normally just buy books.

5. What's a fun gift that you've received that wasn't a book or a gift card for books?

I have two cats named Gin and Whiskey who I love, so the fun gifts I get tend to be toys for them. In terms of gifts for myself, my favorite (non-book) gift I've received was a Roku stick, so that I can watch all of the adaptations being made of books I liked.

6. What's a YouTube channel that you watch, that's not related to books?

Emily D. Baker, who is a legal commentator. I also enjoy Charlotte Dobre's content.

7. Tag five BookTubers that you want to learn more about.

Instead of BookTubers, because every BookTuber I watch has already done this tag, I'm going to open this up to any book bloggers or other content creators who find it interesting.
