Ball 2: Short flicks Hasnain down the leg side, straight down the throat of Daniel Sams on the deep square leg boundary, sending Short on his way for 13 off 6 balls

Ball 3: Weatherald crosses and takes strike - Hasnain bowls a rocket and smashes Weatherald on his back pad to get him plumb LBW for 10 off 9, landing himself on a hat-trick just 3 balls into his Big Bash career.

Ball 4: The hat-trick ball to Jono Wells ends up being a dot after Wells gets down to defend the half-volley right on the stumps.

Ball 5: Wells mis-times Hasnain straight to short mid wicket, where Ben Cutting takes a good sharp catch to dismiss Wells for a two-ball duck, as Hasnain claimed the Mickey Mouse hat-trick of 3 wickets in 4 balls, becoming the first player in history to take 3 wickets in his first over in the Big Bash League.

Ball 6: Another half-volley sees Henry Hunt play and miss an edge through to Sam Billings by a bee's diaphragm, also narrowly avoiding the stumps in the same moment, giving Hasnain a 3-wicket maiden to start his Big Bash career.

To paraphrase an Australian TV commercial, ah Hasnain, you've done it again!
