It upsets me how much I enjoyed this book. Yesterday's post about gifts and recommendations is because of this book.
I'm going to tell you nothing about the book until the very bottom because I recommend you go in blind. You should only cross the spoiler zone (and even then a very light spoiler zone) if you have read the book.
But I only knew what I could see on the front cover. There are two birds, and there's the title. I knew nothing else.
The first chapter blew me away. I was immediately enamored.
It's a short book. About 200 pages. Could have easily read in a day, and I read the second half yesterday. But I wanted to savor this book.
I would read a chapter and then set it aside and just kind of bask in what it was doing. It wasn't that I didn't want to keep reading. It's that I didn't want to ruin the experience (or at least lessen it).
It was so very wonderful, and I hope you will read it without looking at the description or anyone's reviews that mentions anything noteworthy.
Minor Spoilers Ahead.
I'm not kidding. If you haven't read it, go read it.
There are other reveals, but I want to talk about the moment I fell in love with the book.

An epistolary novel? It's an epistolary novel?
This was given away early, but even before I really knew what this book really was, I was absolutely enamored by the fact that it was going to be an epistolary novel.
If you haven't, go read the book. I know it's going to be one I revisit many times over the years. I hope the audiobook did it justice because I want to hear that too.
