New female-founded, London based cashmere brand, MyCashmere, has launched a range of premium knitwear which it says bridges the gap between elegance and comfort, while advocating sustainability.
Produced in Italy, the collection includes a variety of tops, cardigans, trousers, shorts, sweaters and dresses, all in neutral tones. The range plays into the idea of slow fashion, with characteristic Italian craftsmanship ensuring the garments will last for years.
Within the collection are two types of yarn. The first is a premium 100 per cent cashmere, produced from Mongolian cashmere and spun by one of the most prestigious Italian spinners Filati Biagioli (majority owned by Prada and Zegna). This yarn is certified by the Sustainable Fibre Alliance who monitors the chain of custody to ensure the animal, environment and herder welfare are being looked after.
The second yarn is recycled cashmere made by Re.Verso from post factory and post-consumer waste. The brand says its use promotes a fully circular and recycled fashion economy.
Further embracing sustainability, the fashion brand says all its packaging is made from recycled and biodegradable material.

The MyCashmere collection was unveiled at El Norte, Mayfair
The collection was previewed at El Norte, a Spanish restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. El Norte is the latest venture from Arian and Alberto Zandi, co-founders of the Emerald Hospitality Group.
The decor takes inspiration from a villa in the north of Spain, hence its name El Norte. We're told, further openings are expected in cities like Dubai and New York.
