We experience a faint reflection of each other's feelings and mind-states. Often I wish it weren't so. This morning I was observing a deep sense of sadness eating away at me... but it wasn't mine. I contacted the person who "originated" the feelings, and she knew exactly what I was talking about. So, when I feel that the world is holding its breath, I know it because I feel it.
