Review

To anyone on the outside looking in Trixie appears to not have a care in the word between the ice cream parlor she owns, the great group of friends she surrounds herself with and her energetic personality. While serving Mac and his daughter Piper the past she never wanted to face again resurfaces and Mac steps in to save the day.

Mac and his seven-year-old daughter find themselves spending the summer in Lost Harbor when Mac agrees to teach a water rescue course. He was drawn to Trixie before the incident at her store and now she is only more intriguing. He wants to protect her but that means uncovering her secrets and showing that she can count on him to be there for her as she faces her past.

Trixie is so much stronger than even she realizes and with the support of Mac they prove that as long as they are together, they can overcome anything that life throws at them and are truly meant to be.
