[New post] July’s mini-reviews

I wasn't sure to do a mini-review post for July, but two books convinced me to do one: a graphic novel and a re-read. I added a third one as I didn't have much to say about it, not because it wasn't gripping, but because I was so into it that I didn't take any notes or anything.
Lore Olympus Volume 2 by Rachel Smythe
Less pining between them but still there.
I still hate Apollo in this story, and I think it will be the same for Minthe, like he doesn't care about you. Why are you jealous of Persephone? You're not on the same level.
Can I say I LOVE the dogs in this book, like for real? I love them all, but Cerberus will always have my heart.
Pandora's Jar: Women in the Greek Myths by Natalie Haynes
I like how she questions how we perceive women in Greek Myths after years and years of traduction and how they can be connected with other myths.
Miss some images in this edition; I need to search for the art on the internet to visually know what she is talking about.
There is a lot of humour.
Beach Read by Emily Henry (re-read)
I still want to have Gus's point of view. Maybe not for the whole book, but at some event to see what he thinks of the evolution of his relationship with January.
I like that the characters aren't perfect and have flaws that make them reliable to the reader.
Here are all the books of July that I wanted to do a mini-review. I hope you liked them, and tell me what you think about them in the comment if you have read them.
