Burn for Me by Olivia Monroe is now live!
Lillian Rouse is new in town and determined to rebuild her life after a divorce. With everything new: a place to live, and a job in a new city, she sees an exciting future within her grasp. What she doesn't take into account, is the handsome man who calls himself Smoke to overwhelm her senses.
Zack Smoker has worked hard to build his new company, and the last thing he was looking for was a woman to invade his mind. Especially one with little to no good experience in the bedroom. Only the first time he stares into her whiskey-colored eyes, he's caught in a wave of desire that he can't escape from.
When Zack learns that Lillian's new job is at his company, he's determined to get to know her and teach her things she never knew existed in the bedroom. He is all about pleasing her, but he never expected that he'd have the need to protect her too.
With Lillian pushing Zack away, the burn they feel for one another gets put to the side. Will the fire be extinguished or will Smoke find a way to get Whiskey to burn for him as he does for her?

Meet Olivia Monroe
Growing up in LA, Olivia always had a keen imagination and a talent for writing stories. Even from her early years, she hoped to see her name on a book cover and share her tales with others one day.
After gaining her degree in Creative Writing, she traded the warm weather of LA for colder and wetter winters in NYC. There she met her husband Michael, with whom she has a daughter, Emma, and son, Danny.
Olivia is a self-proclaimed romantic, which has helped bless her with a career writing steamy, contemporary romance novels. She admits that much of her inspiration comes from people watching in corner café's and observing couples strolling through local parks.
Beyond writing, Olivia loves to indulge in red wine and dark chocolate but can't stand onions of any kind. After a long day, you can find her relaxing in a warm bubble bath or blowing off steam through dance.
In the future, she hopes to buy a cottage in Southern France where she can continue to write steamy romance novels, with her faithful golden retriever, Roberto, lazily sleeping at her feet.

MY REVIEW: 5 out of 5
Zack Smoker has a new company that he's worked hard to build and it's doing well. He still gets to work on something that is close to his heart and what his previous job was all about. He's a protector, a man that always wants to help people. While waiting for his business partner to show up for dinner at a local restaurant, he sees a woman that at first, he has no interest in, but when she almost falls into his lap, he takes a good look at her, and they start a conversation.
Lillian Rouse is in a new town, starting a new life, and a new job. While waiting for her best friend to show up and have dinner with her, she waits at the bar and meets a handsome stranger. While talking with him she finds that she is able to leave the old Lily behind and can let herself be someone she's always been afraid of being. When she starts her new job, she's shocked to see who her boss is.
I really liked this first book in the Whiskey and Smoke Duet. Zack and Lily are great characters, but Zack's best friend and partner made me a little irritated. Zack and Lily have both had problems and pain in their pasts and are trying to find a way to move on with their lives and be happy. However, when trouble finds Lily, Zack wants to step in and help her, but she's reluctant. Lily is afraid of leaving one frying pan to another with a man that is overbearing and bossy. Besides, she loves her new job and doesn't want to have to find another one if things go south. This was a great start to a duet, and I am excited to read Burn with Me. I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to more.
