Blurb Alone and suffering from the loss of the woman who forever owns his heart, Toby Mitchell takes us back to his younger days.
As Hildy and Toby try to build the life they've always dreamt about, they are unaware of the external challenges coming their way.
News of Bill brings heartache when Toby finally finds out what happened to his loyal big brother all those years ago.
With an overpowering mother and Father, Hildy finds herself at a crossroads when one error of judgement jeopardises everything they both have worked so hard to overcome and achieve.
Will Hildy be strong enough to stand up to her family?
Can their love survive the storm that is brewing?
Will their love conquer all?
.. … .. … .. … .. …
My Thoughts Have you ever sneaked a cookie before? I can't remember whether I did, more than likely though. In Cherish The Wildflowers, there is a little boy called Tristan. You know what he would do? He would sneak not only one, but a few.
The camaraderie between the two brothers Toby & Bill has to be admired, Bill the eldest has the most wicked sense of humour that follows him throughout the story, the best bit for me was when Toby & Bill get lost trying to find Hildy who has been whisked away from her strict parents.
Yes, laugh out loud moments are plenty, and you guessed it … it's Bill again! What's he up to this time? Well …..
Quote "He leans forward, steals a slither of ham from the plate and pops it into his mouth"
Which reminds me of the times I used to sneak slices of corner top side roast my Mum carved up, and being careful to avoid the sharp knife at the same time. I'm sure my Mum knew!! … but turned a blind eye, which could have been quite dangerous.
This is definitely a romance to remember with complications aka Hildys parents that puts everyone on edge.
NB - Cherish The Wildflowers is the sequel to Pick The Wildflowers
Beautiful writing and thank you goes out to Tracy Lee Thompson for gifting me this treasured book of hers in exchange for a honest review.
