The Girl Who Escaped is the latest thriller from Mark Nolan, and one that features his wonderful character Jake and his dog Cody! After reading all the Jake Wolfe books which I loved, I was looking forward to delving into this one,

Angie and her three friends are enjoying sone Spring Break fun in South Florida when things take a turn. Her friends get drugged and Angie get carjacked narrowing escaping, but in doing so sees her friends murdered at the hands of the so carjacker, when the police arrive they don't believe her story and arrest her! She goes through a traumatic time and shuts down and its only when Cody arrives that she snaps out of the fog and opens up about what happened.

Told from various character point of view we are taking on ride, especially when get the point of view from the person responsible for what happened to the girls and his 'boss'.
