Sorry how is it Saturday already? These weeks are zooming on by and I'm not prepared for it. Although I have a feeling this coming week is going to drag. But we'll see.
Happy Saturday, I hope that whatever you have planned you managed to steel some time for yourself. Once again I'm heading into work earlier for another film.
Last Saturday I watched Bones and All Timothee Chalamet and Mark Rylance are two of my favourite actors but woah this was not a typical Hayley film. I really enjoyed it and I'm glad I manned up to watch it but my oh my it was gory and a little jumpy. I had a very anxious chest as I went to start my shift after. But what I will say is the make out scenes were super hot. I mean I'll think of those for a while. What a film although Mark Rylance may have scarred me….
It's felt like another busy week no water aerobics this week - can't win them all but there was some football. England
went into the knock out stages with a much better performance against Wales. Sad to watch Bale and Davies head home though.
The blogging was a little light I blame work, reading and obviously the World Cup that's taken over a lot of my time of late ha. On Sunday I went in for another Six for Sunday post this one was amusing for me to write and you can read that post here.
On Tuesday I shared a Top Ten Tuesday post and you can read that here.
I had scheduled Thursday's Throwback early on in the week and you can read that here.
Thursday saw me back at Boxfit it was a quieter class and I was partnered with Esther. Who is a newer member of the group and a fab partner. We sparred well and were encouraging to each other. Another great session but my ankle has let me down. On that note I felt frustrated as I couldn't push my body as much as I wanted to. I won't make next weeks class as I'll be back in Belleville it's been a while since I've watched my fave show.
On Friday I met up with Lisa one of my school friends. I loved that we've mostly kept in touch since our school days but we had lots to talk about over a coffee or two.
Book post seems to be light with all these strikes but yesterday I received this beauty for the blog tour in January.

I was lucky enough to meet Rebecca at the Simon & Schuster event where she read from this. It sounds like an awesome debut and I cannot wait to get stuck in.
Myself and Catriona started a buddy read on 1st December this beauty is a 2023 release and it's given me all the feels I need and more right now.
Right I'm almost at work for my film so until next time have a good one.
