Head Strength Coach, Eric Bringas and Sophomore Ceyaan Lutt, a second year varsity shooting guard, cordially invite the community of the Sunset District to come support the Lincoln Mustangs as they battle Christopher High School in the CIF Boys State Championship Tournament.
Coming off a victory versus Lowell, the Mustangs are ready to put up a fight. The game will be taking place at Lincoln High School tonight, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. Coach says he's "feeling good" about the upcoming game.
"It would be great to see this community support these young men and see the dedication these kids have put into this season." Coach Bringas then elaborates, "What you will be seeing [tonight], is almost three years of work. Through the pandemic they dedicated themselves to the game and put in the practice to get to where they are at today. Come support these young men who dedicated themselves to their craft."
He finished by saying, "This is the First round in CIF; I hope everyone in Sunset can make it. Hope to see you there."
Ceyaan says he's confident they will be able to come out with a victory as long as they play fundamentally and rebound. He's also looking to play more aggressively this next game.
"I plan to take the open shots when I get the open looks this time around."
The Mustangs will be having home court advantage as they tip-off at 7 p.m.
