Four hours of sleep, really sleeping great, then the stupid phone goes off, buzzing twice. It was updating. Light on the phone goes on, then off, then on, then off. So annoying. So for half an hour, I lay in bed, unable to sleep. They say to get up and do something and then go back to bed if you can't sleep. I get up and do some edits and hear this wild wind. Thunderstorms! Not scheduled at all today. I wouldn't have been able to sleep through them anyway. Thunder, rain, wild night.
Took the photo of the baby orangutan and zinnia flower and giant yellow swallowtail butterfly. The baby orangutan is exploring new worlds.
Okay back to bed and hopefully to sleep if the storm doesn't get too wild. I am at 44K on the book, 36K to go, woohoo! And having lunch with my granddaughter at her school, first time in 5 weeks since being so sick. Still don't have all my voice back. But it's her birthday, so wanted to do something special.
