Ah, the pensive album-closer. K-pop loves a pensive album closer.

Here's the deal: Whenever I see the title of this song, my mind immediately reverts to this banger. Or, better yet... this song-of-my-life epic. So, you can't blame me for feeling deflated by what turns out to be... a pensive album closer.

SHINee do this well. Heck, they do pretty much everything well. Gravity's light pop sound and finger-snap percussion is instantly soothing and enjoyable. It's the album's coffeehouse moment, offering an atmospheric bop for fans to sway along with. Their vocals sound lovely (I feel like I'm writing that about every track) and they infuse the melodies with as much character as possible. The layered chorus is especially nice, delivering a suitable centerpiece that gives the track more swing. Gravity isn't the style of song I'd go out of my way to listen to on its own, but it works well enough in the context of the album.
