Blurb:
I've been selected. One of forty Omegas from academies across the globe.
…a one in forty chance to be bonded into the royal pack.
It has to be a mistake. The selection committee never would've chosen me. I don't even pay my own tuition. I'm a scholarship student from the bad side of town.
I should know better than to hope, but after I meet the royal alphas, I can't help it.
Kaz, Wolf, and Tai are everything I've ever wanted, and our bodies call to each other in ways we're powerless to control.
Not that it matters since the Queen herself has forbidden them from claiming me. I'm too clumsy. Too opinionated. Too poor.
But when the royal pack continues to send other Omegas home instead of me, it becomes harder to accept the inevitable truth…that I'm Knot Their Omega.
My 4* Review:
Selection is the third Omegaverse book by E.J Lawson. It is a standalone as only two characters from the first book are mentioned in passing. This is a story about the crown prince, the lord and the earl, falling for a commoner. Enjoy the fight for their happiness and future when everything seems against them.
"Love doesn't care about status, or power, or money."
The Selection Trials is a old traditionto choose who will be bonded to the Royal Pack. The selection committee choose one Omega from each academy around the world. The Royal Pack is three childhood friends, lovers and bonded Alphas. Prince Kaspian, Lord Wolfgang Von Damme and Earl Taiyo William Althorpe.
Maddison "Maddie" Darling is a scholarship student at the Omega Academy Cambridge. She is surprised at the announcement because everyone expected the popular girl to be chosen.
The story follows the mating trials from the Scenting Ceremony to the Final. Kaz, Wolf and Tai reluctantly play the game as they know there is no getting out of the tradition. An unexpected turn of events at the Scenting Ceremony affects all three and suddenly real feelings become involved.
The four quickly become friends and she provides the Alphas with exactly what they need. I loved how we see a different side to each of them as she puts them at ease. Her parents are having problems and she wants to help them so deals are made and secrets kept during their fun forbidden moments.
The queen will stop at nothing to preventthem choosing Maddie as their Omega. She hates commonersand always gets what she wants. However, Maddie quickly realises they are her soulmates but can she come between the Alphas. Wolf and Tai want her but Kaz has his duty to the royal family so can't choose her. Can she persuade him to change his mind or will she be the Omega who broke up the Royal Pack.
Other friendship are formed and family dramas revealed as the trials continue. I really liked Antonio and Kevin, her little brother is so sweet and I loved how he thought he'd be a prince if she won!
They all know she's the one for them but what will they have to sacrifice to be with her? Another very enjoyable Omegaverse story from this author.
