Iyer has an MBA from IIT Kharagpur and was an investment professional before becoming a full-time author. Her notable works include Abhaya, Avishi, Draupadi, Mauri, and Rukmini. She also conducts mentorship programs for aspiring writers and is a trained Carnatic classical singer.
Iyer lives in Bengaluru.
