Showing black plums, cooked cherries, spices, light oak, licorice, chocolates, herbs, earth, light vegetables, tobacco leaf, coffee and peppercorn.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a delicious Merlot from Columbia Valley. Soft and supple. Tangy and interesting.
Easy drinking right out of the bottle, and better after 2 hours of airtime.

I had it blind, and called 2016 Washington State Merlot. Even a broken clock is right twice a day 
Good by itself or with food. I enjoyed it very much all by itself.
100% Merlot grapes were aged in (40% new) French Oak barrels for 20 months.
