To help couples with their search for the perfect honeymoon location around the UK, Fabulous Bingo has discovered and ranked 44 of the most popular romantic honeymoon hotspots, having extracted Google search trend data. #MummyMonday Catherine Green the Bride Ranking the top 10 most popular honeymoon destinations in the UK The UK's most popular destination for newlyweds is Portmeirion, Gwynedd in Wales with 110,000 average monthly Google searches, due to its beautiful, romantic setting surrounded by stunning coastal scenery. The village is home to a number of unique attractions including a beautiful beach, secluded gardens and wooded trails and castle like Italianate village. The Isles of Scilly, off the Cornish coast in England has been ranked the second most popular destination to honeymoon in the UK, with on average 90,500 monthly searches nationwide! The Isles of Scilly oozes romance as it's renowned for its crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches and wildflower covered hillsides. With approximately 74,000 monthly searches in the UK per month, Tenby, Pembrokeshire in Wales and Beer, Devon in England rank jointly as the UK's third most popular honeymoon destination. Tenby in Wales offers a beautiful combination of stunning scenery, a charming seaside town with a picturesque harbour, and a variety of shops and restaurants. Whilst the picture-perfect fishing village of Beer offers stunning views of the sea and its beaches which are perfect for romantic walks and picnics. Methodology: Fabulous Bingo sought to uncover the most popular honeymoon destinations in the UK.  To do this, an analysis was conducted, having referred to articles displaying the 'prettiest' locations mapped nationwide including FBM Holidays, Condé Nast Traveller and Which to form a combined seed list of the most romantic honeymoon destinations in the UK.  A total of 44 locations were identified and investigated.  To determine which honeymoon destination is most popular, Fabulous Bingo utilised Google search volume which is an average per month, having searched for the name of the location only.  Research was collected August 2023 and accurate as of then, and therefore subject to change.
