Natalie remembers a night at the Tropicana in Havana, Cuba when she was just a college student. She attends with her family and meets a handsome stranger, Antonio, who's a doctor. They hit it off and have lots in common. He writes his address for her to write him.
Except she never does. Her mother found the paper and threw it out. She said it's too much of a distraction while she's in school to become a doctor. Natalie searches for him at the nightclub the following day, but everything's been cleaned up.
Never did she expect to run into him 30 years later at an event in Miami. He's never found anyone who could live up to what he felt for Natalie all those years ago, even if it was just one meeting. She's always been on his mind.
This novella was on Amazon First Reads and it satisfied my need for a Kindle Summer Challenge Hispanic Heritage Month bookmark badge. It's so full of great energy that I wish it were a series so I could get to know the characters better! Absolutely 5 out of 5 tiaras for this novella!
