Hey Everyone
I am going to join in on a fun read-a-thon called Becca's BookoplAthon Read-a-thon: Spooky Edition that will start from the 1st-31st of October so that's a long month read-a-thon and its run by Becca so this readathon is going to have a spooky/halloween theme in the month of October.. So she has also made printables so everyone can get the board game which you can get on her Readathon Video with all the info on the readathon and the prompts will be halloween themed..
This read-a-thon is inspired by her TBR board game called Becca's Bookopoly.. You can also find the read-a-thon on twitter and the page is BeccasBookopoly
There are Two ways to Play the read-a-thon Game:
⦁ Use the Board to build a TBR at the beginning of the month – So you can pick the many rolls you want to take or how many books you think you can read.. If you roll a double you have to add an extra book on the TBR
⦁ Roll as you go – If your a mood reader you may prefer to play this way.. Start by rolling to pick first prompt and then roll again once you finish your book.. for your second roll make sure and start on the board where your landed on your 1st roll
Becca's read-a-thon rules:
- If you are building a TBR at the beginning of the month you can choose how many rolls you want
- You must start on go space
- Use 2 six sided dice for the board
- if you roll a double you will have to add a roll and the means adding a extra book
- No double up
- Halloween themed
- If you get stuck on a prompt you can roll again but the next prompt you land on you have to pick 2 books for that one prompt
- You can read any format of book
- You make your own prompts for community chest cards and you pick books you really want to read and books you don't want to read at the min for the chance cards for the read-a-thon
So make sure and check out Becca's videos on her YouTube channel.. Let me know if you are joining in on this fun read-a-thon and what book you will be starting with?? I post my Wrap up at the end of this month to show what books i read in the readathon
Kat X
