| jacobtheawesome1 Oct 31 | Just because something is extremely popular does not mean that it should become a movie. The case should be said for Five Nights at Freddy's, the newest adaptation of a popular video game that broke the internet ten some years ago. Of course, I have never played the games nor know much about its lore, but I remember when a lot of people were playing and talking about it. All I knew about the games was that it involved a security guard that was tasked with investigating a Chuck-E-Cheese's style restaurant with a dark past and your goal was to avoid the animatronics that came alive. If caught, you were greeted with a jump scare. To be fair, I could see why this became a movie, as the concept is rife for a horror movie. I feel the problem with Five Nights at Freddy's is that, other than its premise, it just doesn't know what to do as a movie, especially with the simplicity of it all. | | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
