Well, the new season started and it did just throw 4 episodes of Frieren and some other shows at us. So yeah, I did watch all of Frieren that is currently out, but not all in one day. I like how they handled this two our premiere other then throwing everything into one 90 movie like some other anime did. So yeah, see my random and garbled thoughts below.

Synduality Noir Episode 12 (Cour Finale)
I liked that this finale of this cour really played into a deeper mystery that needs to be explored in the next half of the series. There is a little bit of a suddenly plot device appears when everyone in a tough spot and it's very character focused consider how Noir considers herself useless. At the peak of trouble, Noir turns into Mysteria and saves the day with her special abilities against the Ender troubles. The bigger mysteries behind all of this is everyone seeing Kanata at some sort of hero while he doesn't know what is happening. Everyone characters gets some sort of conclusion when played into things there. Then the conspiracy between Schnee, Marcht, and Ciel continues too. I can dig all of that.
Helck Episode 12 (Cour Finale)
Some wild times come across here as the demons conquered Castle Thorn from the humans and the winged humans consistently attacking and fully back and some demons even gaining a higher level themselves. So that in itself is interesting with Helck and Vermillo having their own continual heart to hearts as they approach the demon country's boundaries. In a lot of ways, this was just a solid ending to the first cour where all the plots are thrown around before the next one starts next week. So yeah, genially happy with what moved along here even if the episode was shorter and an end credit sequence that was too long.
Undead Murder Farce Episode 13 (Cour Finale)
That was a great conclusion to the werewolf to human village mystery at least. Banquet itself was a side thing even though the very lesbian fight between Shizuku and Carmilla (which might as well be flirting) and the encounters between Tsuguru and Victor leading to a lot of "we will get you next time". But the werewolf mystery was resolved and for now, the fight between werewolves and humans is stopped because the whole thing was a really fun sort of revenge plot against both of them. For now, Aya, Shizuku, and Tsuguru are going out to solve crimes once again and possibly acquire Aya's body. For now, this is good but more would be nice.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 11
Well, that was an episode of a show that I watched. I am waiting for the epic things to occur. It's mostly just been good and not great. The entire boxing in Gojou was interesting because there are some good connections between him and Getou still. The rest of it is our Jujutsu Sorcerors playing off of what Mechamaru is telling Itadori in order to get Gojou back. Then bad guys are the more interesting ones here because their chemistry and what they are planning to do are so interesting. Hope it gets above good here soon.
Soaring Sky! Precure Episode 35
This show's baseball episode is here and it is a joy. Especially since most of it comes from Sora being very athletic in baseball and being a special manager to help her school's baseball team to become stronger because their ace needs to get surgery. The ace and Sora are alike, but Sora knows she isn't alone anymore and this Ace has to learn that the team doesn't just need her to win. This episode was just so fun to watch on so many levels because it's such a pure joy.
The Gene of AI Episode 13 (Finale)
A very good goodbye sort of episode as our doctor finally knows the location of his mother (in a very dangerous third world country) and is leaving everything he built behind. He does get his doctor friend to take over his clinic for now while his relationship with Risa was also analyzed a bit. The super ai michi is plotting something here regarding his upgrade. I'm glad that Sudou at least found some humanity by not just pushing Risa aside in such a mean way. The ending was good and I want to see what happens further from this point.
Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead Episode 9 (Might call it a finale)
The finale came into being here or at least the finale we are getting with three episodes that we never know will appear. But in this episode, Akira gets to go through a lot of things on his finale voyage home. After Akira helps an oldman complete a treehouse to live int eh mountains right outside his home town. Then we appear inside of Akira's home village that is isolated and in the middle of nowhere. Especially with it being clear that his parents are hiding something from him and he can't figure it out. The very quick introduction of an anti Akira and group was well done, but this episode was a great inroduction into a newer plot we probably will never get.
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Episode 1 (Premiere)
Yeah, this was pretty good almost just utterly fantastic. It is the story of one elf mage who just finished a campaign to save the world. Automatically Frieren doesn't feel anything because it's only ten years out of her life while for everyone else, it's a major part of it. So clearly there are so many emotional arc with Frieren backing up a bit as she tries to dig into the human realm. Her helping the priest she used to travel with and possibly take in a protege is a cool beginning to this journey. Sounds like a fun time.
Episode 2
Oh, this was so cute. Especially with this time of Frieren working for corrupt priest Heiter for years while also training Fern as well. It was a cute set of time lapsing while Heiter gets a bit weaker and dies while Fern does get stronger and learns something about magic. What a send end that was as he finally falls apart sadly. But Frieren does have a young mage protege that travels with her as she goes on her next adventure just to place the right flowers from Himmel's home town on the statue she just cleaned up. Very simple and clean episodes all around here.
Episode 3
This episode was cute. Half of it was Fern following Frieren as Frieren acts more derpy then usual, goes shopping, and even talks to some scary adventurers about baked goods. Turns out that it's Fern's birthday and Frieren wanted to celebrate it and man, so good. The second half of this episode started with Fern and Frieren practicing defensive magic of all kinds and Fern refusing to read about why. Then the answer comes when Frieren unseals an ancient enemy and defeats this opponent with spells and education that came from study of him from 70 decades. Finally, Fern understands why and it's a good send off to an enemy that Himmel kept watch over for a long time. Man, the hearts are very good.
Episode 4
I just love the constant use of small montages and limit moments showing so much of Frieren and Fern's relationship. Especially since Frieren is the farthest person from being a morning person and Fern dressing her to do their job. The job being removing wreckage from the water of a village that is about to have the sunset festival and even then, Frieren didn't appreciate it that much. Though the last part of this episode with Frieren, Fern, and Eisen searching for Frieren's former master's reviving the dead spell was the one that hurt the most here and it sets Frieren on a ten year journey with Fern to capture something of the past. I would love to see where this all goes and what Frieren can learn about herself and about HImmel. I'm sorry about rambling about this show. It's just a lot. A lot of content and a lot of episodes in a short amount of time.
Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange Episode 1 (Premiere)
This one seems pretty interesting so far. The start of this episode with all of Tokyo on fire and us watching a firefighter named Shun seeing Daigo do the most impossible things. Especially when the opening where Daigo barely had any oxygen left but went in to wave another victim anyway. After that opening, we jump back to the start of firefighting training. Shun is immediately turning into one who is trying his best but is imperfect and complain a lot. He is the view we see of the invincible Daigo holding himself up from the rest of the class with a small mystery being Daigo too. It was a strong enough premiere to keep me going here too.
Overtake! Episode 1 (Premiere)
I was thinking about either watching MF Ghost or this one and yeah, I decided to not watch a sequel or attachment to a franchise I don't know about. Overtake had some cool racing in the F4 field and a good emotional kind of link. The opening of having a photographer who can't take pictures of people to having him find a connection with F4 through a young racer (who crashed and burned) that opened up his feelings gain was great. PLus, the series explained a lto of the mechanics of F4 racing in ways that make sense for us complete novices while showing a good race. It was a good episode over all and I want to see more of this.
