Celebrate a very geeky Christmas in this sexy fake dating romance…
The last time Jay saw Leo was on his knees at his cousin's wedding.
The hookup had been hot, memorable, and they'd gone their separate ways in the morning.
However, when Leo moves to the Bay area right as Jay's getting over a shitty ex, the timing couldn't be more perfect. Jay's a shy geek while Leo's outgoing and charming, but their chemistry flares brighter than a lights display. Except Jay's hesitant to dive right into something new, and his ex left a minefield of broken Christmas obligations in his wake. Until the perfect solution presents itself—Leo can attend as Jay's fake boyfriend.
The more time they spend together, the more the relationship feels real, but it just might take a little holiday magic to get them to both take the leap.
Roll the dice on romance at Tabletop Tavern...
[I received a digital arc for an honest review]
Merry Critmas by Katherine McIntyre is a great farewell novella to the Table Top Tavern crew and gives a HEA two men in the process.
Jay and Leo have an explosive hook up at a wedding that neither of them forgets. Fast-forward a few years and fate has brought these tow back together. The connection is still there, but Jay recently got dumped and isn't ready for a new relationship and doesn't want Leo to be a rebound. But Jay needs a date to a handful of holiday parties, and Leo willingly offers to play is fake boyfriend. It doesn't take long for Jay to realizes Leo could never be a rebound, and he can't ignore their feelings for each other.
Pretending to be Jay's boyfriend was effortless, and that intensified the ache in his chest for this to be real.
Our characters Jay and Leo are great. Leo is a confident Dom with a soft heart. He's finally able to do what he loves, baking, but he's feeling lonely. Jay is an adorable nerd who suffers from body dysphoria ( his relative don't help, but thankfully his parents are completely supportive). I loved how Leo's confidence and openness of his attraction to Jay helped with Jay's nerves in social situations. Together in the bedroom, they are steamy and Leo worships Jay's body in the way it deserves to be. Bonus points for all the communication in the bedroom!
Merry Critmas is a holiday a light daddy/boy novella with a trans male lead, a fake relationship, steam, communication , game night , and a happy ending.
