Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim. Strong nose of black fruits, cedar, vanilla, spices and espresso. Full bodied with medium acidity. Showing blackberries, cooked plums, figs, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, earth, tobacco, cedar, alcohol, leather, vanilla, licorice and spices. Long finish with round tannins and cherries. This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon based Bordeaux blend from Napa Valley. Big bold and beautiful. Fruit forward and 'In your face' kind of wine. This Single Vineyard is rich, yet elegant. Extracted and expressive. Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. This 5 year old is still young, and needs 10 years in the bottle to mature properly.
