Reading Wrap Up
This month I read 14 books, three of which were rereads but I had no DNFs this month. I'd hoped to read 15 or 16 this month but I was pretty busy with other hobbies during the month, so 14 isn't terrible. My reading plans also changed around a bit because of Junior Eurovisionathon which was from the 12th to the 26th and took up most of my reading.
It was mostly a month of okay reads, but I did really enjoy rereading two of Sabrina Jeffries' books. More about that at a later date though. I didn't buy any books this month and I unhauled seven, along with the five books I read from my shelves, which brings my TBR down by 12 to 266. Here's hoping I might be able to get down to 250 by the end of the year.
NaNoWriMo
Of course, a lot of my November was taken up by NaNoWriMo. I'm very proud to announce I made the 50k on the 28th. My document is an absolute disaster so I've taken a few days off since finishing and I'll spend some time organising it over December in the hope of being able to come back to it in January.
Life Updates
This month was dominated by three things—Eurovisionathon, NaNoWriMo and knitting. This month I started three huge knitting projects and a smaller one on top of the three I already had underway which have mostly been pushed to the side now. I have a whole post sharing those projects so I'm not going to get into them here but I've probably spent a good 60+ hours this month just working on those. That didn't leave me a lot of time this month for anything else, but I did somehow find time to continue volunteering for a few places and spend time with Alex and the cats.
Movies & TV
On top of everything, Alex also had exams this month so watching things wasn't really on the cards for this month. We did rewatch Spiderman: No Way Home for about the fifth time. What can I say? It's definitely a favourite.
December Plans
Usually, this would be my 'currently reading' section but I just shared my December TBR the other day and I'm working on those books so I didn't want to repeat myself word for word here. Of course, this month is about trying to finish my reading goals and the other things I said I'd read before 2024.
I'm very close to finishing my goals of reading 25% of my 2023 purchases and reading 25 nonfiction titles so those two are definitely priorities. I've also got a few books I almost finished in November that will finish off those goals too which is great.
So that was my November. What did you get up to this month?
