| kittykatwriter Nov 1 | Tanya Bowe finds herself embroiled in a murder whilst interviewing contestants for the National Talent Competition being held in her home town. Jealousies, secret and lies abound amongst the contestants. Can Tanya uncover the truth, as more than one of her suspects determine to throw her off the scent? I loved being back with Tanya and her eclectic group of friends in Seacastle. The development of each and every one of them is noticeable, as I began to understand more about them all. The relationships are more complex now, and add to the story. Relationships are at the core of this novel - be it between the murder victim and suspects -or between Tanya and the people in her life. I enjoyed finding out more about her sister as it added to my understanding of Tanya. This story had depth, emotions and intelligence. Tanya skilfully teased out information in a way the police failed to do. I loved it. | | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
