The passing of her husband has led Whitney back to hometown to create a new life for her and her children. Her plans to stay at the motel take a turn when she finds herself in trouble due to her crying baby but she never expected a reprieve to come in the form of Jack, the man she always wanted but never had when she was younger.
Jack owns the motel where Whitney is staying so to appease everyone involved he offers to let her and her children to stay at his home. What he hadn't counted on was a snowstorm forcing them to spend time together or the feelings he would develop for them. Now he finds himself conflicted as love or a relationship was never part of his future but there isn't anything he wouldn't do to protect them.
I enjoyed seeing the relationship develop not only between Whitney and Jack but between him and her children as well. A little suspense and all the feels as two people who weren't looking for love find it in each other.
