I have completed Pluto, so no updates on that until my post for it comes out. Otherwise, it does feel like every anime was on top of it's game this week besides Frieren that had a lesser episode for the show which turned out for it to be still good. Apothecary Diaries and Overtake took this past week for me.

Migi and Dali Episode 6
The mystery is being pushed a little further while going into some weird and uncomfortable places. Especially with Migi being treated from a baby to a toddler to learn some respect from the Ichijou mother while he is also trying to pushed the Ichijou family to learn something. At the same time the relationship between Dali and the family dog is cool and wholesome. The sort of pay back of Migi dressing up as their mom and seeing the reactions of the Ichijou family was a pretty interesting strategy to see who could have possibly killed her and the results were pretty strange and I not sure conclusive. Everyone reacted so differently and this episode gives me something to think about it.
Dead Mount Death Play Part 2 Episode 5
At this point, I'm just throwing my hands up in putting any effort into understanding the plot of this show. Especially when more and more characters appear all the time and create an increasingly higher level of chaos through out by putting more factions into the mix. A majority of this episode was between Kagura and Heilei assassins and then the police corruption with the fire starters cult outside causing police officers to be turned into zombies. Then an electricity magician shows up to possibly fight or interact with our Walking Skeleton? I think that's what happens? All I know is that I am having fun and that is everything I need.
Helck Episode 18
A simple episode of Helck just trying to catch up to Alicia while going through waves of men with just his punch. Alicia was about to be executed by the nobles and the crowds really hated on her. So of course Helck saves the day with his dark aura and the two embracing in a loving manner until the noble shows up and the snow starts turning normal humans into ascended human beings. Also, Helck is the rule terror of human kind as the hero killer. So now, everything really is set into place here too.
Bullbuster Episode 6
The mystery behind the lake is going somewhere, but there is so much work drama that is way too relatable honestly. For instance, the intern Namari that is mentioned as this top person is a rules lawyer that won't get anywhere in life considering how hard he sticks to the rules of how many hours he works. Okino and Arumi still investigate the rat that went to the lake and even in killing it, have footage to check.
Plus, there is a scientist that is helping them which the boss clearly wants to grossly bang which she avoids as much as possible. The ending confrontation between Okino and the rules lawyer Namari seemingly went bad for Okino, but Namari is an asshole that uses the rules of their company to just be there with almost no care in the world for the danger that is around him. Some wild things to think about here though. Quite a lot to think about in a short amount of time.
The Emminence in Shadow Season 2 Episode 6
Kind of a wild episode this week as Cid's/Shadow's/John Smith's plan is actually uncovered by Shadow Garden. A lot of this episode is Cid battling the people he raised from him getting Delta to join his side to the very climatic match between him and Alpha that made Alpha break down in tears. All with Cid/Shadow/John Smith doing his plan and becoming more and more rich all the time. Some really sad stuff going on at the moment in some craziness honestly.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 17
I'm still in the camp of the feeling I'm watching a lot of cool stuff happening. While there is a direction and a point that I enjoy, we did cut from Megumi facing down his father (which Megumi didn't know) and struggling until the guy killed himself and then Megumi was caught by surprise to Jougo vs Sukuna to what Sukuna was clearly playing with lava boy until a sad kind of ending I was am kind of eh about. So it was a good sort of in-between episode stuff that left me cold while everything was nice and flashy looking.
Soaring Sky! Precure Episode 40
Really cute episode about Ellee being jealous that Tsubasa is spending more time reading what the King gave him then playing with Ellee. Very usual three year old behavior with a cute sort of play marriage between the two and then Ellee becoming so jealous. It was another sort of dramatic moment that was resolved after another fight with Skeargard that was fantastic. Just a genuinely great episode all around honestly.
Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Episode 10
This episode was probably the weakest episode of Frieren and even then, it's still pretty good. This felt like a pretty shonen battle in formula from flashbacks onward. Now, I loved seeing Flamme and Frieren where we see where Frieren came from and why she acts like the way she does. The whole episode is about mages hiding their aura to fight demons and then Frieren reveals where her aura is in the end and that's how Aura died in the end. It all makes sense. Hope we get a better stand alone arc after this pretty good, but kind of lacking portion.
Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange Episode 7
It's obvious that this show doesn't actually have enough material for 12 episodes because the show is very padded with panning and pauses. But this was a good episode. It was a very Yuki Nakamura focused episode because we see how much her background has pushed her into becoming a firefighter and she is joining Squad M after meeting one of her idols. At the same time, there is some small hint to Daigo's background and Shun finally realizing how he ruined his relationship with Yuki by never asking about her and trying to hit on her honestly. At least he finally realized it and hopefully will change by it.
Overtake! Episode 7
Some real peak drama going on in this show and I say that because it's so realistic and well written. Especially this episode with Komaki Motor's sponsor pulling out of a sponsorship, Satsuki having so many worries after his crash despite his rampant fangirls, and Madoka being in so much trouble and causing the sponsorship to fall apart because he was the one who took the photo of the accident ten years ago. So many demons of the past are showing up because they just don't forget to follow us. The real star of this episode was Kotarou because he really is everyone's friend and the most relatable character. I'm seriously worried about where this is all going.
Spy X Family Season 2 Episode 6
Excellent episode of SpyXFamily once again. I love this cruise ship arc and I am glad that they are doing it justice. Anya and Loid are clearly doing their comedic thing with Loid clearly not getting what a vacation is. Then there is Yor and her Garden Assassination group dealing with the random assassins going after the family Yor is protecting. So it's cool to see this actual assassin stuff that was put into the manga put into an anime because we do see that Yor is still her bad ass amongst bad asses.
Power of Hope ~Precure Full Bloom~ Episode 6
Very good Rin episode and I am glad that it's allowing it's characters to breathe even if the plot isn't that strong. The plot is very basic magical girl and it does allow the characters to show how strong they can be. Rin is going through her troubles of continually failing to become a jewel designer because she loses in house competitions. Seeing her confide in Karen and then find a soul that allows her to transform into a precure. Which we all hear that the flowers creating the precure could be sinister, so I find it interesting.
The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You Episode 6
This swimsuit episode was so powerful. I think this is the fist time the power of a harem that is competing with each other but also loves each other comes into play. From Karane worried about her figure and heading away to the real horniness competition which caused Kentarou to pass out because he was overwhelmed, and then Shizuka struggling when her inner tube failed and she was stuck as a cast away at the pool because no one would help her. I did like how these girls competed with each other, but also protected each other too from random creeps at the pool and Kentarou just being a chad and getting all the kisses. Everyone had a moment to shine.
The Apothecary Diaries Episode 6
The Garden Party Arc continues and it makes me so happy that we see so many sides of Maomao. I love how the over ladies in waiting Maomao is with protect her as a small bean while the other ladies in waiting are becoming more and more scared of her. (Plus, she's gaining pins from so many people which is fun.) A lot of internal politics going on that I kind of find interesting because it makes complete sense. Plus, Maomao performed her taste tester duties and discovered a poison that she loves and just scares the rest of the party. Especially since the poison wasn't meant for Gyokuyo, but another concubine Lizhu. There is a cool mystery going on here that I can enjoy honestly. This episode moved so quickly and I find that interesting.
