After their visits, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man. Charles John Huffam Dickens was born at 7th of February 1812 and died 9the of June 1870. He was an English novelist and social critic who created some of the world's best-known fictional characters, and is regarded by many as the greatest novelist of the Victorian era.
