Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish and is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Today's topic is a Christmas wishlist. I don't usually receive books from anyone apart from a few friends so I actually really struggled to put this list together and I could only come up with six. I'm also trying to really not buy books right now and a great way of doing that is not letting myself think about all the ones I want for too long. But let's get into them.
Consider Me (Playing For Keeps #1) by Becka Mack
This is my most wanted book right now. I've been interested in it for months but the trad pub version was released recently and now I've been seeing it everywhere. I've read quite a lot of hockey romance this year and I plan to read even more next year, including this one.
If Only You (Bergman Brothers #6) by Chloe Liese
I've just started my reread of this series this month, but I still don't own this sixth book. I know it'll probably be another month or two before I get to this point in this series so I know I don't need it right now, but I do really want it.
Death In A White Tie (Roderick Alleyn #7) by Ngaio Marsh
Ngaio Marsh's books are always on my wishlist. They are incredibly difficult to find so I never pass up on any that I find in secondhand stores. I'm a stickler for reading series in order so this is the next one I need to find. We're about to move to a different city so I'll probably order this one in February once we're settled.
The Vanishing Stair (Truly Devious #2) by Maureen Johnson
I'm about 120 pages into Truly Devious right now and I already know I want this one. I'm just in a real mystery mood right now and this is ticking all the boxes for me. I'm probably just going to end up getting this one from the library since it's a big series and I don't have that much room.
Mixed Signals (Lovelight #3) by B.K Borison
This one is a little embarrassing—even though I consider this one of our my favourite contemporary romance series, I've not actually read this one yet. When it came out in August of last year I was on a book buying ban and then it just kept getting pushed further down my list by newer releases. Eventually I will get around to picking it up, I swear.
Festergrimm (The Legends of Eerie-on-Sea #4) by Thomas Taylor
I've been really loving this series this year but I only owned the first three. While I'd love to buy this now, I think I'm going to end up picking it up from the library as well so I don't have to wait for it to be delivered with Christmas and everything.
What books are on your Christmas wishlist? What books are you buying other people for Christmas?
