Olivia has been best friends with Callan since they were children even though her feelings for him run much deeper. This is a line she isn't ready to cross as she would rather have him in her life as a friend rather than take the chance she could lose him altogether. The relationship as she knows it is about to change when they agree to be each other's date for a few upcoming weddings.
Callan is a bachelor and happy that way however Olivia has always held a special place in his life and his heart. When they agree to be each other's dates for a few wedding events unfold where it will force him face how he really feels about her and push the parameters of their relationship.
I really enjoyed seeing Olivia and Callan realize how they were always meant to be with each other. Even though they had some challenges to overcome they understand and know each other in such a deep way that they were nothing more than a bump in the road on their way to their happy ever after.
