| | | This week on Roll to Review | | | | A note from Roll to Review | Hi all,
Thanks for reading Roll to Review and joining us on the journey into the wide world of board gaming. A few new things are happening with the site which we thought we'd cover in this email, rather than post on the site.
| - First, we've changed our email plugin. We've been trialling MailPoet for a while and although they're not the most comprehensive solution. They get the job done. However, the big reason for this move is to add comments to emails you're already getting, so I can keep you informed and give you additional content without having to put up public posts.
- On the back of that announcement, we're going to try moving away from post-notification emails into this weekly update format. We want to respect your inbox and not flood you with emails. If you still want post notifications you manage your settings here or follow our Facebook page or Instagram.
- Finally, my wife, Stephanie, has taken up the mantle of social media manager as an add-on to her role as editor. This is why you may have seen some more posts on Instagram and Facebook from us.
We hope you have a great holiday season, whatever you're celebrating. My board game group is on hiatus while a friend of ours is getting married in Hong Kong (congrats!). So there's going to be a lot of two-player and cooperative game reviews coming over the next month or so.
| Thanks again for your support.
| Roll a die for us, Dave & Steph | | | | | Blue Lagoon is a light board game that punches above its weight - Review | | | Serving up fierce Moana vibes, Blue Lagoon is a point salad you can get your kids into. | | | | | | Simple and sweet, Doughnut Drive-Thru delivers the treats - Review | | | If you've drooled over a bakery display, then you might want plastic sleeves for this game! | | | | | | Take to the mines in Saboteur the goofy game about the search for gold - Review | | | I love gooooooooooold and accusing people of being the saboteur in this delightfully small social deduction game. | | | | | | Don't forget to vote! Every second month, Roll to Review runs a poll on a hot topic within the board gaming hobby. This time around we ask: How do you like to learn board games? So be sure to cast your vote, and leave a comment! | | | | Come say hello We can't say it enough - thanks for being a reader of Roll to Review! It's through your support we continue to bring the best content we can. We'd love to hear more from you, so be sure to leave us a comment next time you're on our website, Instagram or Facebook. | | | | | | | | | |
