Letting go, new perspectives On the 14th when we were to have a date, Paul went into the hospital with flu and pneumonia. I nevertheless went out and had a steak sandwichch at Richmaid creamery. It was big and juicy. In the meantime, Debbie went out and then back into the hospital. The weekend was devoted to watching episodes of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. There are over 300 episodes and i have watched over half. On the 19th, I went out to maggisnos in Santana Row. On the 20th, my son took me to my othopedist for a preoperative appointment. He gave me a nutcracker soldier. I donated it to the facility. It looks good on the fireplace in the living room. On the 21st, I went to a preoperative appointment at st. Joseph's hospital and then to a Christmas party at the San Joaquin Center. The rest of the week, I will rest, celebrate Christmas and get ready for my biopsy. The 21st is winter solstice. I will celebrate by meditating on the return of light and putting my crystals in the sun to absorb the energy of this sacred day.
