Happy New Year! Hoping all of you had a wonderful holiday break. I and the rest of the Indy Review team are feeling rested and ready to get back to sharing the latest new music with you.

As it's the very start of the year, there aren't any major new album releases out today, but we do have a cool split EP between Swiss Army Wife, Avec Plaisir and Celebration Guns out on Really Rad Records.

There are also a good amount of new tracks we feel like sharing with you. First, the legend Liam Gallagher has teamed up with John Squire for an upcoming joint album, and they've dropped their first single today. Green Day's new album is only a few weeks away, and they've released the fourth teaser from it, and Alkaline Trio's isn't far behind, so they've dropped another single to bring the hype. Chaz Cardigan is wasting no time in 2024, dropping another new song from his next album. Yonaka have gone a bit darker with their new track, while The Lemon Twigs' latest is an effervescent delight.

Matisyahu is bringing us one song closer to his new EP, while The Last Dinner Party are revving up the excitement for their debut album with their latest track. Frank Turner's new one is a grisly banger, while Sleater-Kinney's is an alt-rock jam. Other artists making a return this week are Dylan LeBlanc, Mall Girl, The Nervous Eaters, 24kGoldn, NOAHFINNCE, The Strike, NEEDTOBREATHE, Alice Merton and Ryan Adams.

There are also a few notable tracks that came out during our break, so to make sure they aren't missed, we've included the latest singles from Bob Schneider, Rare Americans, Garland Jefferies and Grizfolk. And as always, we love to bring some new blood to every list; today we've got The Boathouse, Jimmy Montague, New Years Day, Ghost Work and Eevie Echoes and the Locations.
