Oracle by
Marie James My rating:
5 of 5 stars The heart wants what the heart wants. You can say that you'll never fall in love or that soulmates aren't real, but fate can prove you wrong many times.
Oracle was a determined bachelor and wasn't looking for a woman to love or to get married, but one night in a bar, fate found herself matchmaking and putting two people together that didn't even know each other. She also found a way to prove to Oracle that his bachelorhood was not for him to decide.
Beth wasn't looking for a man to marry her, but fate gave her the opportunity to escape her little town and give her a fresh start, so why not take it if she can? Beth knew that if things went sideways again for her, that she'd never be able to remain in her hometown, but Oracle was a man that couldn't help but care about Beth even if he didn't remember the night they shared.
I loved this story and as always, I love the characters in the Cerberus MC books. They're funny, strong, determined and very loyal. I can't wait to see where things go in the future for the Cerberus MC. Each book seems to get better the further we delve into these guys. I loved it!
