In fact, this is the second book in a series, but I didn't feel like I needed to read the first book to follow along in this one. This book is a great summer or light fiction that will draw the reader in until it is difficult to put it down. The characters are well-written and seem very natural together. Plus the story line was very nice. I would rate this book five stars. I also look forward to reading more books by this author.
