Hi guys! Today I wanted to do the weekly blog prompt for Top Ten Tuesday ( hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl). This week we are talking about new-to-us authors of 2023. Honestly I kind of love this idea, there were so many fabulous books last year! I would love to share some of the authors I discovered.
Sarah J. Mass: I started listening to A Court of Thorns and Roses in September and really liked it. There were some issues with the series as a whole, but I loved the world building and the characters.
Elle Cosimano: I discovered the Finlay Donovan series last year and I love it. I just finished a novella from the series that I will be reviewing later.
Parini Shroff: I got to read/ listen to The Bandit Queens last year and I loved it. Can't wait to see if she writes anything else.
Lana Ferguson: Looking for a pretty darn dirty romcom with fabulously hilarious characters? The Nanny was it. I loved these characters and have her new book The Fake Mate on my TBR.
Lynne Painter: I read their YA romance, Betting on You, and their adult romcom The Love Wager last year and I loved them. I fully intend to look into her other books
Misha Bell: This romance author caught my attention last year when I saw an ad for Hard Code on Facebook. It was a fast fun read and I ended up getting several other audiobooks from this author.
Mazey Eddings: I got to read Tilly in Technicolor thanks to Netgalley. I loved her portrayal of neurodivergent characters. She has an LGBTQ romance that I want to look into, along with what looks like a romance series.
Cathy Yardley:Role Playing was a super cute romance I discovered last year that had an older main couple. I already have several other books by this author on my radar.
Sarah Freethy:The Porcelain Maker was one of the few historical fictions I read last year and I really enjoyed it.
Clara O'Connor: Once Upon an Algorithm was one of my Netgalley picks for last year. It was a little messy, but a really good book over all and I loved the characters. I see that it's getting mixed reviews on Goodreads but honestly I feel like it was a great read.
