The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G (quite a mouthful) boasts an impressive 200MP camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). With 2x/4x lossless zoom, this Xiaomi allows for detailed close-ups from a distance, great for capturing individuals in crowds or zooming in on the action.
The large 1/1.4-inch sensor and enhanced image processing delivers excellent results even in low-light conditions. The combination of a f/1.65 aperture and Tetra2 pixel technology delivers clear and bright pictures, with minimal flare and ghosting.
The Pro+ offers a variety of digital picture editing features, including snappy object removal and replacement. Its macro mode is particularly impressive, and in Portrait mode its bokeh effect is extremely naturalistic.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G offers crystal-clear viewing with its 6.67-inch 2712 x 1220 resolution AMOLED display featuring a peak brightness of 1800 nits, while the 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate ensures silky smooth scrolling.
The display supports Dolby Vision, and has dual speakers, which bodes well for streaming TV shows.
Build quality is good, with the smartphone feeling very nice in the hand. It measures 161.4 x 74.2 x 8.9mm and weighs 204.5g. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus provides resistance to accidental drops and scratches, making the display durable and reliable. The device's upgraded structure, combined with an IP68 dust and water resistance certification, positions the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G above the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G.
Certified by TÜV Rheinland for Low Blue Light, the device also features a reading mode and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra chipset, ensuring smooth multitasking. A massive 5,000mAh battery allows users to power through busy days, while 120W HyperCharge can charge the device to 100 per cent in just 19 minutes.
Available in Midnight Black, Moonlight White, and Aurora Purple, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G offers two storage variants. The 12+512GB version starts at £449 / 499 EUR.
In the UK, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will be available from Amazon, and other retailers, starting February 1. From February 01 to February 14, buyers will also receive a free Redmi Watch 4 and Redmi Buds 5.
