Slash is patient, determined, and loving when it comes to Aria. She has a lot of demons to battle before she can love herself and Slash. It will take a bit for it to come around, but it does and then the healing part of the story kicks in. I love Ciara's books and I truly believe there is nothing she can't write and bring to her readers that won't make you sit up and see the world in a different light. She takes the hard subjects and writes a wonderful story that may have you crying your eyes out, but in the end it will also heal your heart to know that there are people in the world that care, and will be patient enough to show that care and love. I loved this story and I always look forward to books by Ciara.
