Since he first burst onto the music scene with Live at Stubb's and his hit "King Without a Crown", the multitalented reggae star Matisyahu has been paving his own unique path in music. Making headlines for expressing his unique perspective as a Hasidic Jew through a musical style originating from Jamaica, Matisyahu has continued to evolve both musically and personally, while never losing site of both his own roots and those of the music that inspires him.
This has led him into a successful career, with Grammy nominations and two Gold records to his name. While on his latest 34 date U.S. tour, Matisyahu took some time out while on a stop to discuss his latest EP Hold the Fire, the new inspirations behind it, as well as his recent performance in Israel to benefit Bring Them Home Now.
