February was a much busier month than I was anticipating, so I'm a little slow getting this together. But here we are and let's just get right into it.
Reading
I had a pretty slow reading month again in February. I had a fantastic time rereading the two Elle Kennedy's and Midnight Duet and then I just hit a slump until I picked up The Chase at the end of the month. The Atlas Paradox is going down as one of the worst books I've ever read so that was fun.
TV & Movies
I had a pretty good month of watching things again in February. First up, I watched 45 episodes of Grey's Anatomy this month. I've been watching this pretty consistently since January and I'm now part way through season 12. I honestly don't know what I'm going to watch once I catch up.
I also watched some Disney for reasons that will become apparent in the next section. Namely, Hercules and about half of Peter Pan before I fell asleep. Let me tell you, waking up to the sound of the ticking crocodile is not very comforting. I also finally got to see The Marvels. I love Captain Marvel so I was excited for this even though I've not liked most of Marvel's recent stuff. It was fun and a little chaotic and I mostly enjoyed it.
Life Updates
February was a big month in terms of personal things. Some of which I'd planned and some that was kind of a surprise to me.
I started the month off on a Disney cruise with my best friend, Angel. We had an absolutely fantastic time, ate so much food, met so many characters and spent so much money. It was really, really fun and I'm so glad I got to spend that week with Angel especially now that we're living even further away from each other.
I came back and started my first semester at my new university. It's been strange being back on campus—I started this degree in 2020 and then continued online up until this point. It's incredibly tiring being back on campus and I've had a couple of moments of general stress and panic already, but I think I'll be okay in the long run.
Now onto some surprises. I got a new job! I talked briefly about this in my last post as well, but it kind of came out of nowhere. I've been working for the last two weeks and I really enjoy it so far. Everyone is super nice and it's not too stressful of a job either.
And now for maybe the biggest surprise this month...I returned to booktube. I stopped making videos in July last year when I was going through a really stressful time and I honestly never thought I'd return. Then I'd just started to miss making book videos lately and I decided to jump back in. You can see my first video back just below.
But otherwise, that's a wrap on February.
