Hello! I hope everyone is having a fantastic Sunday. I'm on the way out to dinner with my family in a few but finally have a second to sit down and do my February wrap-up. February was one of my lowest reading months in a while and if I'm being honest, I'm ok with that. One of my personal goals for this year is to just go with the flow more while also spending more time developing more hobbies and interactions. These last two months have been so much fun, and I am finding joy in all aspects of my life (books included, of course!)
I read a total of six books in February and since I didn't do any recent reads posts. I'll give a quick sentence or two of what I thought.
Books I Read
Worst Wingman Ever by Aby Jimenez-5 stars. First book that I've read by this author and I can't wait to read more.
With Any Luck by Ashley Poston- Cute story. Definitely reminded me of the movie The Hangover.
Drop, Cover and Hold On by Jasmine Guillory- This was an ok read.
Rosie and the Dreamboat by Sally Thorn- Very cute story!
The Teacher by Frieda McFadden- Full review to come but this one was not for me.
Daylight Delight by Shae Sanders- Very cute romcom with a dating show element.
March Hopefuls and Reading Plans
First of all, can we talk about the sheer number of books releasing this month?! I have at least eight must buy books including This Could Be Us by Kennedy Ryan, Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano, and more.
The Buzzwordathon prompt for March is 'character names'. For this prompt I have three potential books that I could choose from.
Daisy Jones and the Six, The House of Eve, and Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice all contain character names. I might read the first chapter of all three to help decide which one I want to go with.
Middle grade March is also here and I want to try to read at least one middle grade. So, I hope to pick up The Memory Thieves by Dhonielle Clayton. This is book two in the Conjureverse series and I am so excited to continue.
Thanks so much for stopping by! What books do you hope to read this month? Are there any new releases that you plan to pic up Let me know in the comments and as always, thank you so much for stopping by!
