Pouring, puddles, splashes, soaking. Used about 752x it never leaves you. A long novel covered in....er, is the grande finale' to a series that had gotten to the point. This is installment is filled with recriminations, vengeance and juvenile bickering that are the emotional cap on this bloody bucket. Excessive backstory slowed the novel down where characters constantly relive injustices of the past. Each chapter is a duplicate of the ones preceding all the while you know where this is going to end. I am rooting for this author as I believe he has talent.
