My Review:

Seven Summers by Paige Toon is a gorgeous and heartwarming read that will instantly transport you to the beautiful and rugged Cornish coastline. Beautifully written, this is an epic story of love told from several different timelines that will steal your heart from the very first page.

Seven Summers tells the story of Liv, who meets LA. musician Finn when he performs at local venue Seaglass. After a night of passion with Finn ends in devastating tragedy, the pair make a promise to meet each summer and, if they are both still single, pick up where they left off.

But then Liv meets Tom, a newcomer to her home town, and things become complicated. With the book moving flawlessly between the present and the past, I found myself completely drawn in to both Liv's relationship with Finn and her blossoming relationship with Tom.

I don't want to go into too much detail as I don't want to spoil what is a beautiful and emotion filled story, so all I will say is that Seven Summers is a book that I haven't been able to stop thinking about since I finished it. It's a stunning read and I felt every emotion alongside the characters.

Moving and memorable, Seven Summers is a beautifully written and multilayered story with characters you can't help but care about. It is a profoundly moving story of love, family, friendship and loyalty that I adored from beginning to end.

Paige Toon has written a warm and moving love story that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Pure escapism at its very best!
