Conceived and directed by Milorad Krstić, a director of Slovenian origin, 'Ruben Brandt' shows that one can make an adult animation film without an immature focus on sex and violence (there is violence in this feature film, because 'Ruben Brandt' is a crime thriller, but this violence is part of the plot, and not a gratuitous display of gore).
