Can you whisper?
Something I never thought I'd ask the guy who is exactly my type
but completely wrong for me.
Someone I sneak secret glances at from a distance while vowing to never get too close.
And then I get tossed in jail. With him.
Know how forced proximity and extreme panic go together?
They don't. And the walls I spent a lifetime erecting around me crack,
giving him an intimate view of all the secrets I work so hard to protect.
Color me surprised when the pierced, tattooed DJ doesn't recoil or call me a freak.
Arsen gets me through the night, his attention like a match to my insides,
lighting me on fire and making me burn.
Keeping my distance is impossible.
My body begs to be near him, but we just don't mix.
He's fire. I'm water.
Sound is his superpower but my kryptonite.
For once in my life, my heart is louder than my head, and I can't stay away.
But it seems following my heart leads me straight into trouble.
Turns out I'm not the only one who thinks maybe Arsen and I don't belong together,
and the people who agree will go to extremes to make sure we stay apart.

AUTHOR BIO
Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than fifty titles. She went to college for a bachelor's degree, couldn't pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.
Besides writing, Cambria loves a pumpkin spice latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching K drama until her eyes won't stay open. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she'd rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chihuahuas (the real bosses of the house).
Cambria has written in many genres, including new adult, sports romance, male/male romance, sci-fi, thriller, suspense, contemporary romance, and young adult. Many of her titles have been translated into foreign languages and have been the recipients of multiple awards.

[ I received a digital arc for an honest review]
Whisper is the 7th book in the Westbrook Elite series by Cambria Hebert. This can be read as a standalone but if you enjoy it , I highly recommend reading the rest of the series!
This is one of those situations where I love a book so much that I actually struggle really hard with the review because my feelings are hard to put into words while keeping it spoiler free. The storyline of Whisper fits in with the rest of the books in the series with MCs who fall fast and a bit of over the top drama thrown in towards the end, but if you've read any of the books in the series you'll be expecting it. Also plenty of page time for all the Elite couples!
"We still don't fit." "Oh, baby, tell me the parts that don't fit, and I'll saw them off so we do."
Prism and Arsen completely stole my heart, and I can't stop thinking of the two of them together. They were just so perfect for one another ! Prism lives with Misophonia and Tinnitus alongside anxiety and sensory triggers which makes everyday challenging. He has coping mechanisms , like ASMR, to help him focus. As a DJ , music is Arsen's life and he just so happens to be the creator of Prism's favorite ASMR content. When Prism starts to spiral, Arsen's voice helps calm and center him. Arsen is patient and understanding of Prism's struggles and he does his best to make him comfortable. The way Arsen helps Prism feel cared for and loved unconditionally is everything. The intimacy between them is also delicious, with Prism melting under Arsen's praise and every single "Good Boy". They also are the best nicknames that made my heart melt.
I'd never felt like this before. Not ever. Overwhelmed and overstimulated, but in a good way. I'd always associated those things with anxiety and fear, but this was anything but. This was pure bliss, something I hoped would never end.
Simply, do yourself a favor and read Whisper by Cambria Hebert and fall in love with Prism (who is 💯% a protect at all costs MC) , Arsen and the entire Elite swim team family 🥰 Whisper has Auditory disability rep, Possessive MCs, Hurt/Comfort, "Good Boy", the best nicknames 🧸, ASMR 🔥, Found Family at its finest , Group texts , banter, trauma lattes and so much more !
